If I ruled the world...

I'd recommend that you enable crossfade on your Spotify settings when you stream my playlists. Crossfade creates up to twelve seconds of time when one song on the playlist fades into the next. Sometimes I use the crossfade feature to create new sounds in between songs. I highly recommend enabling this setting in Spotify.

Crossfade is also super handy for any playlist you're using to power creative time or deep focus. It's also perfect for ambient background noise or long road trips.

You'll experience your playlist a little bit more like a custom mixtape of old.

I turn this up to 10-12 seconds pretty regularly. I'd recommend enabling crossfade for at least 5-7 seconds to notice the effect.
